About Us

Our name is Well Place. Throughout history a Well provided water necessary to sustain life. Over the years, the Well also became a symbol of Hope . . . where wishes were made. Definitions of Well include "with skill, healthy, advisable, and recovered from illness."
We specialize in treating obsessions, depression, social anxiety, and trauma (including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) that have been resistant to customary treatments. We also treat somatic conditions, including headache, weight loss, and substance abuse.
Well Place medical treatments include unique medications like SpravatoTM, Ketamine, Botox, weight loss injectables, and Suboxone TM.
In the near future Well Place will be among the first to provide psychedelic medication assisted psychotherapy.
Well Place provides unique brain-based interventions through neurofeedback, a form of biofeedback and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation of the brain for several brain-based conditions.

Well Place is connected to Comprehensive Psychological Services established in 1986.
The idea of a specialty clinic like Well Place came about because many of the Well Place specialty services were initially developed at Comprehensive Psych. These services were mixed in with many other mental health services for children and adults. The creation of Well Place will increase and improve our focus and effectiveness.
Well Place focuses on adults who present with “sticky” conditions. We provide unique, innovative, evidence-driven, brain based services to reduce the stickiness and enhance life.
